auto insurance billing: why bodywork?
|
We hope you never get in a car accident, but if you do, bodywork can help you get better faster, and we can usually provide it at no out-of-pocket cost to you, by billing your car insurance.
Even minor car accidents can lead to chronic pain or headaches over the years if not properly treated initially. By assisting blood and lymph circulation, massage helps the injured areas heal. The calming effects of massage also promote the body’s natural ability to get back to a state of balance after shock. Trauma creates “splinting,” which is when muscles contract to hold joints and limbs stable to protect against injury. After the incident, the body often forgets to release these tight, painful muscles. Therapeutic massage reminds the body that it can let go of its holding pattern, allowing a thorough, long-lasting recovery. |
A series of treatments will have a better result than just one or two sessions. As massage moves your body through the healing process, contracted muscles release, range of motion improves, and scar tissue formation is prevented.
Our work can complement the care you’re also getting from chiropractic or physical therapy treatment. In fact, to bill your auto insurance, we'll need a prescription for massage from your doctor or chiropractor. Be sure the prescription indicates a diagnosis code (ICD-10). Once you have that, give us a call, and we'll design a treatment plan for you. We look forward to helping you feel better soon. Please call to book. No auto insurance bookings online. Not all of our therapists take insurance cases. |

"Found the self care routine I needed. After a car accident and whiplash left me incredibly in pain and almost handicapped, this place took the steps to help me get better." |
